These Terms govern your use of Softnet Network broadband services (the “Service”) and our website softnetnetwork.in (the “Portal”). By subscribing to a plan or using the Portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility & Service Activation
Service activation is subject to a feasibility check at your installation address, submission of a completed Customer Application Form (CAF) along with valid KYC documents, and successful payment of the applicable charges.
2. Plans, Billing & Refunds
- Tariffs are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
- Plans are prepaid; renewals must be paid before the expiry of the current cycle to avoid disconnection.
- Installation and router charges, where applicable, are non-refundable once the service is activated.
- Refunds, if any, will be processed within 14 working days to the original payment method.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful activities, sending spam, distributing malware, attempting unauthorised access to any network, or any activity that violates Indian law or infringes the rights of others. Violations may result in immediate suspension without refund.
4. Equipment
Any router, ONT or other equipment provided by Softnet Network remains our property unless purchased outright. You are responsible for the safe-keeping of the equipment; loss, damage or tampering may attract replacement charges.
5. Service Availability
We strive for 99.5% network uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Outages caused by force majeure, civic works, power failures, or upstream provider issues are outside our control. Planned maintenance will be notified in advance where reasonably possible.
6. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate the Service for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or as required by law. You may terminate the Service by written notice; pro-rata refunds, if applicable, are governed by your plan.
7. Limitation of Liability
Softnet Network is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Service. Our maximum liability in any event is limited to the charges paid by you in the preceding three months.
8. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via the Portal or SMS/email. Continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Surat, Gujarat.
